About this item
Very pretty round silver jewellery box with shaped lid and set on 3 ornate cast legs. The hinged lid is gilded on the inside and it retains the original pale gold silk lining.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1925, makers William Neale & Son.
It measures 10.5cm (4 1/8") wide and 5cm (2") high and weighs 142g/4.6ozt.
Condition is very good; no damage or repairs to the silver bar a really tiny dent to the lower rim. Light surface wear appropriate for age. The silk lining is a bit worn on the bottom but pretty good to the pleated section running around the sides.
