A well made early 19thc "Book" Vesta with an interesting way of opening, by sliding the back spine of the book upwards and removing it and that then allows the lid to be opened...it is inlaid with geometric walnut panels on the top and bottom and cleverly inlaid "pages" ...when open it reveals the strike on the inside back of the book...it is made from rosewood and is in very good condition with a fine colour...
