    A fine quality 19th century Coromandel wood and brass bound vanity box, having a lift-up lid with an assortment of silver plated and glass containers with bone manicure tools.  The top section opens to reveal a storage well which contains an arrangement of brushes. There is a spring-loaded drawer and a small mirror.  The box retains its original finish and is beautifully lined in the original rich blue velvet.  English, Circa 1860.
