18th Century German brass and copper Frederick the Great tobacco tin
Hinged brass and copper box, the lid embossed with a full portrait of the young Frederick II in uniform beneath a laurel wreath. The base inscribed "JOH. HENR. GIESE FEC." and "FRIDERICUS MAGNUS BORUSSORUM REX.". The base of the box with 12 relief decorations depicting the towns where battles were won.

Condition: Good overall condition, some rubbing to the decoration on both sides, the hinge operates well and the lid closes tightly.
