Rare William IV silver table snuff box. Nathaniel Mills, 1828
An unusually plain William IV silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills of Birmingham 1828. Mills is well known for very ornate boxes so this one is very unusual. Plain all over with "AD, Jedburgh" inscribed on the front. The 15 part hinge is tight and the lid closes crisply. The interior has been regilded and there are hallmarks on both the base and the lid. A very pleasing Nathaniel Mills box.
