This gold chain does not have any hallmarks or assay marks but has been thoroughly tested and is sold with our usual 100% Guarantee.
This is an 18K gold chain which has a large rectangular middle which is decorated with blue and white enamel on each side. At each end is an elaborate carved link. At one end is a large gold hinged dog clip – this is an earlier variant to the sprung hinged type
The chain and key weigh in total 9g and the chain excluding key measures 91mm long x 9mm wide on its widest point. The chain is in 90% mint condition – one carved link has a small pin prick hole and some dents. The enamel has no losses just some scratches and small marks
At the other end is a fine gold split ring and attached to this is a gold on metal key set with a carved handle. The key is decorated with blue and white enamel matching the chain. The ye key is a size 3 approx The key measures 37mm long x 11mm wide. The key is in 90% mint condition – there is a split on the gold sleeve on the winding end.
