    About this item

A 19th century, French brass, circular pie plate or gratin dish. Gratin dishes are generally made from copper and it is quite unusual to find one made from brass. It dates from c.1880. Originally it had folding, brass, ring handles to either side but one of these is now missing as the fitting has broken. The fittings are attached by copper rivets. Other than the missing handle it is in good condition, and the interior has been re-tinned.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
