About this item
A Victorian, brass cruciform pastry tool. This is English and it dates from c.1880. The brass section is cast with a heavy wheel, which would be used for trimming the rim of a pie, and two shaped markers, one circular and one diamond shaped, which would be for impressing a design into the pastry. It has a turned, ebonised wooden handle. It is good quality and it is in excellent, usable condition.
Dimensions: Length 19cm. Width: 9.5cm. Diameter of handle 3.2cm.
