About this item
A heavy, Victorian, cast brass pastry tool with a wheel to one end and a square stamp to the other. This is very well made and it dates from c.1860. The chunky wheel was used for trimming the rim of a pie and the square stamp was used for putting a design onto the sides, or top, of a pie. The square stamp had become detached from the handle and has been stuck back but this would not prevent the piece form being used. Otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: Length 11cm. Diameter of wheel 3cm. Length of stamp 3cm.
