About this item
This eye catching pressed brass newspaper rack would have hung on a wall as a receptacle for newspapers or magazines. It could be used today for that purpose, left just as it is as wall decor or perhaps a double ended sheath of dried lavender or roses could be laid in the rack to create an interesting wall decoration- there are lots of possibilities. The height is 377 mm (14.75 inches), the width 425 mm (16.75 inches) and the depth 38 mm (1.5 inches). Possibly French, it is in very good condition and would date from around 1890.
