About this item
A beautiful jointed celluloid doll dating to approximately the 1930s/40s. She is jointed at the shoulders, hips and neck. She has a lovely face with painted eyes and lips, framed by a typical 1930s bobbed hairstyle with decorative hairband. She is wearing ready moulded clothing. There is a maker's mark to the back of her shoulders in the form of a stylised bird, but I don't know which maker this is. This lovely little doll sits well and is a great display piece.
She is in generally good condition apart from minor rubbing to the paintwork in places and a small, stable crack to her chest just below her chin.
