    This is a wonderful and intact Tudor period copper-alloy thimble, dating to the 16th century. It is a robust eample with clearly defined hand punched pits going around the body in a spiral. Similar examples have been recorded SWYOR-194504HAMP-A3F9E1, and SOM-456596. This is an excellent example in good excavated condition.
