For sale is a Beautiful Antique Middle Eastern Sterling Silver & Turquoise Jambiya Dagger Brooch.
This brooch has filigree wire decoration with cabochon turquoise stones and is beautifully decorated.
A jambiya is a traditional short, curved double-edged dagger that originated in Yemen and is worn as a cultural dress accessory and symbol of honor, social status, and manhood.
This is in mostly good condition, unfortunately the safety chain is damaged (please see photos for more details).
This brooch measures 8cm in length x 1.2cm width and weighs 11.86 grams.
