    About this item

This is a charming Georgian silver heart-shaped lovers brooch, dating to the 18th century. It is in the form of a crowned heart. It retains the original steel pin in working condition. The silver is not marked but tests as solid silver, and appears to be pierced and cut from a silver sheet (as was the Luckenbooth brooches of the 17th/18th century). A good original antique in wearable condition.
