About this item
A rare Victorian silver, Montrose agate and citrine brooch. Made around 1880 probably in Scotland. Although unmarked it tests as silver and is in excellent condition. The mounted citrine is well faceted and has a deep orange colour. It has a "C" style clasp and a safety chain. It has 8 beautifully cut stones set in a buckle style setting. Very wearable and collectable.
