Victorian gilt metal and enamel bow pin with frame locket c1890

This is a gilt metal brooch in the shape of a pin and decorated with beautiful blue enamel. T The brooch has a silver suspension loop from which to hang a pendant or pendant fob watch

Hanging from the bow is a round gilt metal frame which is decorated with little spokes – a bit like a ships wheel. The frame is held together at the top by a screw on cap. Unscrew this as the frame comes apart enough to remove the two pieces of glass. You could then slide a picture or memento between the two pieces

The whole piece, including bow measures 78mm long and the frame is 33mm wide.

The bow and frame are in 95% mint condition – the glass does have some scratches
