About this item
A beautiful Victorian Scottish silver and agate brooch. Made around 1880 for the Victorian tourists who arrived by train for holidays in Scotland. With Queen Victoria and Prince Albert holidaying at Balmoral Castle on Deeside it became very fashionable to follow them to Scotland. The brooch has 33 agates set in unmarked silver and is in excellent condition. A great gift or item for your collection.
