A lovely Victorian Scottish silver mounted agate brooch, unmarked made around 1870 by the style. In total there are 24 individually cut agates divided into six panels of three agates and six dividing Montrose agates. All the agates are in excellent condition as is the brooch overall. The silver back has a "C" clasp and pin with a loop for converting into a pendant. A gorgeous example of a Scottish agate brooch.
