18th Century Welsh Oak Two Stage Bureau

An antique 18th century Welsh oak two stage bureau cupboard or bookcase having two blind panel doors to the top revealing a single fitted shelf to the interior. The bureau base has a fall front with small brass knob, above an arrangement of two short drawers over two long drawers, raised on decorative bracket feet. A good piece of early Welsh antique furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good early antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There are some shrinkage splits to both sides, and general surface wear throughout. Some evidence of old historic wood worm in places, this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Structurally solid and sound and ready for the home.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs and restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!

Timescale: 5-15 working days. You will receive full delivery details once your order has been placed. For Scotland, delivery may take longer than 15 working days. Please note, the courier service is to the external doorstep, the courier will also deliver on their own so you will need to arrange for someone to help your end.

Delivery Exemptions: We do not deliver to areas outside of mainland UK (i.e Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Scilly Isles).

International & European: We do not currently ship outside of mainland UK.

Collection: Our shop is based in the village of Penderyn, South Wales, CF44 0TJ.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
