About this item
A butter dish with a blue, transfer printed central dish and a carved wooden surround. This is carved, in sycamore, with the word “BUTTER” and it dates from c.1920. The pottery dish is printed with the willow pattern which was a popular design for more than a century.
Both the pottery dish and the surround are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 14.5cm. Depth 2.2cm.
