About this item
A lovely, 19th century, beechwood butter print carved with a bunch of grapes. The design of this butter print is quite primitive in style but the carving is very deep and well detailed. It dates from c.1840 and it is in excellent condition. The print and handle are carved from a single piece of wood and the wood has quite a rich, honey coloured patina.
