About this item
A very unusual antique Arts & Crafts golden oak sideboard or chiffonier. The back having an up-stand shelf to the back supported by turned uprights and finial tops. The small 2 door glazed cabinet with shelf interior and flanked by plate glass mirrors. The base having two fitted drawers each with brass handles with a stunning pair of panelled doors below. Each having 7 panels with raised stylised flowers in oak and ebony and Gothic arches. The centre ebony panels inlaid with boxwood Poppies (possibly Liberty & Co.). The whole raised on a shaped plinth base and complete with re-placed working locks with keys. Condition- Very good and original. Dimensions:- Height…55.75’’/ 141.5cm. Width…41.5’’/ 105.5cm. Depth…18.5’’/47cm. Base Height…35.25’’/ 89.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
