    A highly decorative 19th Century Japanese parquetry and brass mounted table top cabinet on stand (Ko-dansu) from the Meiji period (1868-1912) with a pair of black lacquered doors decorated with gilded maki-e cranes enclosing six small drawers over a single large drawer, the cabinet supported on a black stand with gilded decoration with shaped legs.  Circa 1880.
