This is a striking antique cocktail cabinet. An English, walnut sideboard cupboard in the Arts & Crafts taste and the manner of Liberty, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Select walnut presents fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Original lead framed glass in very good, clear order.

Delightful demi-lune crown sits above a quality boxwood and fruitwood inlay. Pair of glazed upper doors with a galleried opening beneath. Fascinating trapezoid from to the breakfront lower cabinet, with a repeat of foliate motif

Field panel cabinet doors dressed with inset, brass lined locks - keys absent.

Original ivy green velour interior to the upper cabinets a tactile treat. Lower cabinet offers a wide, useful storage shelf with generous space above and below. Distinctive pierced brass hinges and demi-lune piercing to legs adds further visual appeal. Unmarked as such, but bearing the quality and craftsmanship of Liberty, London.
