This is an antique music cabinet. An English, rosewood glazed display case with boxwood inlays dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Superior quality with a highly attractive finish. Displays a desirable aged patina throughout. Select stocks show fine grain interest with light caramel hues. Original glazed door in good order, with clear bright appearance.
Galleried top accentuated with brass rail with chased pattern detail. Striking boxwood inlays of classical Greek influence throughout. Useful drawer to the top apron dressed with a pair of brass drop handles
Cabinet arranged as a suite of four graduated shelves with generous space within. Large glazed door provides a clear view of the interior, ideal for displaying collectibles. Shaped brass escutcheon with drop handle over inset, working lock — key present. Riding smoothly upon a quartet of castors beneath a shaped front apron
