Antique Retailer's Display Cabinet, English, Shop Showcase, Edwardian C.1910

This is an antique retailer's display cabinet. An English, mahogany and glass showcase dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Generously sized showcase ideal for the collector or shop environment. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Select stocks show fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Original glass in good order with light marks to top, commensurate with careful use.

Graced with slim pillars to maximise viewing within. Sliding glazed doors to rear dressed with a pair of recessed brass pulls. Wide glass shelf sits elegantly upon shaped bracket arms. Shelf brackets adjustable in height, with a range of 53.5cm (21'').

Clear back helps light shine through the display case. Display base dressed with a quality textile in a blue-grey hue. Deep front apron with moulded edge, continuing to the sides, raised upon a set of four block feet. Maker's mark to front of cabinet for F. Maund & E. Berg of London
