George II mahogany two door cabinet
A pair of fielded panelled doors, the panels with ebony and boxwood stringing. Stands on well formed ogee bracket feet. The doors open to a single adjustable shelf and three drawers with axe head handles. The inside of the doors of lovely construction, note the corner joints, and a pair of mirrors. Complete with lock and key.
English, circa 1740
Condition: Good 18th century timber with figured grain and colour, blemishes to the the mirror plates, surface crack noticeable to the upper top left corner of the door, under normal lighting it is almost unnoticeable but is highlighted by studio lights, it is totally stable, otherwise in lovey condition.
