Matched Pair Of Ebonised Pier Cabinets

Very elegant and decorative very close matched pair of English late 19th century (Victorian) ebonised pier cabinets with burr walnut and box string inlays with marquetry. Also retaining their original brass mounts, original glass doors with working locks and keys, newly re lined with a fabulous teal velvet lining.
They are both the same height width and depth, but slightly different round marquetry panels as you can see when they stand alongside each other like this, but with a little distance between them they are less obvious.
They both have two shelves and the base surface, so they offer good bookshelf space, but the shelves are removable (not adjustable) so you can configure to suit you.
Both in good condition, well cleaned and polished so the have a lovely mellow glow to them.
