About this item
A Large Pair of Metamorphic Brass Candelabra made of brass. Dating from C.1880. Each candelabra has 7 sconces. They have a rise and fall central column and arms that can also be highered or lowered at various degrees.
The mechanism is quite ingenious and they are of high-quality manufacture. Very stable with weighted bases and thick gauge brass. When in the reduced setting they measure 19" high, 18" wide and the base has a diameter of 8". When fully extended Height and width measure 24' high, 26" width. With the arms in the highest V-shaped setting, they measure 32" High.
They are quite impressive either up or down on a table or sideboard.
Condition : Very good condition with no damage. The one base has needed to be levelled up slightly.
