    About this item

A nice example of an early 18thc brass chamberstick...it has an attractive shaped handle with diamond shape cut into the top....the candle socket has a pierced heart shape to eject the candle....copper rolled rivets secure the handle and underneath the lathe and sand marks can still be clearly seen where it has been cast in the sand mould and spun on the lathe....always an attractive feature.

    English. C1700-10.
