    About this item

A rare late 18thc / early 19thc "double" Candlebox probably coming from a big country manor house, as you would probably put the burnt down candles in one side and the replacements would come from the other side of the box....the box is made of Oak and Pine....both have patinated well to give a splendid colour and it is in very nice overall condition...this is the first of this type of Candlebox I have seen....

    English. C1780-C1800.
