A superb early single brass candlestick from the 17thc....it is only 4.75" (12cms) high and it has a deep candle socket decorated with double incised ring decoration....the stem consists of a single acorn knop inverted ....and it stands on a wide square base , attractively decorated with elaborate patterns....a super little candlestick, which would look very at home on a gentleman's writing desk..!
