A very good mid 18thc Rushlight & Candleholder....it stands on a fruitwood "conical" base, which has a very good colour and patination from years of use....the candle holder is of the rolled overlapping form, which is supported by an open twist arm and stem, which terminates with pointed jaws to hold the waxed rush.....in superb original condition throughout...
