About this item
Georgian cast silver taper chamberstick. The separately cast bobeche and the candle holders of gadrooned form to baluster stem. The oval drip pan with acanthus and shell border the handle with acanthus detail. Sheffield Hallmarks for 1818 and maker’s mark I & T.S. for John and Thomas Settle who registered their mark in 1815. The silver plated candle doubter is not original.
