A good quality stylish mahogany magazine rack made in the 'Arts and Crafts' Glasgow Art Nouveau style associated with George Walton.
The design has the sinuous curved sides associated with the Art Nouveau style.
It has a portable cut out handle at the top, shaped sides and feet and three drop in sections for magazines and news pappers.
This is a very useful and unobtrusive magazine /newspaper holder, easily portable and takes up very little space.
It was designed to stand next to your chair and to be tidied away when not needed.
The polished wood finish is original with a few minor marks from age and use.
