Very decorative mid 19th century folding coaching table in a lovely mellowed pale mahogany tone.
As the name suggests, these tables were used when travelling and refreshments were required, hence their folding up so they can be stowed away…but they now make great drinks or side tables, also hall console tables.
The table has a slide catch underneath which holds it securely and easily, whether you might use it as a permanent table or if you might use it as a garden table when required.
The table is in good condition and has aged gracefully, some age and use marks but all under many many decades of polish.
