An oak Arts and Crafts library table by Sir Robert Lorimer, the rectangular top with a rounded edge above a frieze drawer on slow turned legs.
Lorimer first sketched a table with slow turned legs in Augsberg Cathedral while on holiday with Sir William Burrell and it became a trade mark feature of his Arts and Crafts period.
