About this item
A very chic French 19th c Console Table in Oak with layered base and decorative legs - this could have been a counter in a shop as the side without the drawers is also nicely finished and the drawers themselves look as if they have been used for money. However it is such an elegant piece of furniture that it will make a perfect long console table in a drawing room or a center table in a hall. It has lovely proportions and is going to look wonderful in some lucky person's abode... Circa 1870
