A rare and unusual superb quality late 19th century (circa 1890) Arts & Crafts oak centre table of reuleaux triangle form with marble top, possibly American - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This table consists of a shaped triangular (or reuleaux triangle shaped) white veined marble top, not original, with moulded edge, this supported by a recessed top with egg and dart carved decoration and a moulded edge below.
This leads down to a decorative carved tri-form base consisting of a central carved baluster column with shaped and moulded supports with applied paterae, the three shaped and moulded legs with carved husk decoration terminating with three carved acanthus and paw feet.
This table is of very unusual design, it is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
