17th c Japanese Imari Verte plate
A late 17th century Genroku period Japanese Imari Verte plate, rare to be of nonagonal form. The plate features a bouquet in a vase with fence motifs surrounded by panels of flowers. Underlying the exceptional quality of the plate, the reverse is decorated with prunus blossom in cobalt blue and iron red. Circa 1680.
