Very nice Chelsea porcelain red anchor period deep dessert plate/dish, c.1755, with shaped rim edged in brown and finely and delicately painted with floral sprays.
Marked with a red anchor inside the footrim.
It measures 23.5cm (9 1/4") wide and 3.8cm (1 1/2") high.
In good condition; it has 3 rim chip repairs. Very light surface wear, mainly just in a few spots to the brown on the rim. There is a small glaze loss to the reverse caused in firing and a short firing line to the rim.
