    About this item

A sweet Derby porcelain figure of a small child or putto standing holding a basket of flowers with a floral garland headdress and a small bocage behind him. Patch marks to the base, c.1780.

    He measures 11cm (4 1/4") high and 4.5cm (1 3/4") wide.

Condition: he has been repaired at the neck and there has been touching up to the upper half of his torso and down his left arm but this all relates to a simple neck repair only and the porcelain underneath appears fine. A few usual minor chips to the leaves and flowers here and there.
