About this item
A very pretty Meissen porcelain sugar bowl / sucrier and cover finely painted with floral garlands and sprigs and finished with a flower bud knop to the cover and gilt rim to the cover edge. Crossed swords "dot" mark, c.1763-1774.
It measures 9cm (3 1/2") high to the knop and 10.7cm (4 1/4") wide.
Condition is very good with no body damage or restoration. A few small chip to the tips of the petals on the knop and possibly a tiny enamel loss to the green leaf. Minor handling wear, just very fractional rubbing to the gilt on the cover rim. There is a minor firing fault inside the base of the bowl, a small glaze blow out over a few kiln dust spots.
