About this item
A very stylish pitcher shaped vase produced by Roger Capron at the Atelier Capron in Vallauris, France in the 1950s. It is a tall, elegant shape with clean, modernist lines, decorated with a mosaic-like wax resist design known as Pavé. The base is signed 'Capron France' along with the item number. This is a very rare Capron shape in an unusual colourway, and is a fine example of this influential ceramicist's work.
The condition is good with no chips or cracks, and just light wear commensurate with its age.
