A Meissen 'punkt' period charger

A Meissen 'punkt' or Dot Period large circular charger, the centre painted with a still life panel of sliced pear, another pear, plums and strawberries, within a border decorated with fruit, flowers and vegetables, all within a gilt dot and line border, the underside with crossed swords and dot mark in underglaze blue

The dot between the pommels of the swords denotes the 'punkt' period 1763 - 1774
