About this item
A grotesque winking cat made at the Aller Vale Pottery in Devon around 1900. It is covered with a rich dark yellow glaze and has a green glass eye. It is unmarked but is typical of pieces made by this pottery. There are a few factory faults to the glaze. It is in good condition with just a small chip to the bottom edge.
