About this item
18th century Lowestoft porcelain coffee cup and saucer painted in blue with the Long Fence pattern, within an alternating lattice and flower border. Workman's mark inside the footrim on saucer. (c. 1770)
Measurements: Cup height 6.2 cms, width (including handle) 8 cms; saucer diameter 12 cms.
Condition: the cup has a tiny nick on the rim, probably factory damage as it is glazed over, and slight wear to the footrim; apart from that both pieces are in good condition with no other chips or cracks and no restoration.
