This large Victorian Aesthetic Movement 9 1/2 inch dinner plate is transfer printed in the darkest brown.
The clear and crisp NORMAN pattern features repeating geometric designs and flower insets along the border. In the well of the plate is a magnificent castle and stems of wildflowers. A vignette of a punt and a sailboat traversing a lake with a distant landscape. The pattern displays the victorian eras love of nature and travel to exotic lands.
Condition is great, clean shiny and bright. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.
