This 2 7/8" high x 2 7/8" diameter child's pearlware mug, excluding the applied handle,
has a crisp image transfer printed in chocolate brown and hand painted under glaze in golden orange and cobalt blue. In addition to the entire ABC alphabet transfer with the classic Brownhills decorative clover transfer, this mug has a central image of Little jack Horner sitting in his corner with a plum from his pie stuck upon his thumb. Light transfer.
Condition is great. No wear, chips, cracks or repairs. The image is part of the Nursery Tales series coveted by collectors.
