About this item
Genuine Victorian Transfer Printed
Mustard Pot ~ Crock
PARIS, FRANCE C 1900
This is an early Delft style French mustard circa 1880. The tasty spread has just enough bite and flavor to mask the less than desirable unrefrigerated foods of the Victorian era.
The crock stands a 5 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches wide with a blueish pearlware hue to the glaze. It is in great condition with some glaze flaking along the rim. The piece will make a great addition to any collection of transfer printed advertising wares or quack medicines.
